This trek starts from Lukla, the get way to Khumbu region by domestic flight. The trek follows the ethnic Sherpa villages like Namche, Khumjung, and Phakding. Namche itself is a historic Sherpa village well known as the business center for Tibetan & Nepalese trade from last hundreds of year. After crossing altitude 3,500 m the alpine environment starts with the beautiful views of Khumbu Mountains. The trek will give you the experience of culture, religion & typical settlement of ethnic highlanders with numerous flora & fauna of Sagarmatha National park.

The main destinations of this trek are "Gokyo Lake (alpine Lake)" with Cho-La pass (5240m) & Everest Base Camp with superb Mt. Everest view point " Kalapatter" (5,545m). The incredible view of Mt. Everest (8,848 M), Mt. Cho-Oyu (8153m), Mt. Lhutse (8,501 m), Makalu (8463m) with other mountains of Khumbu region can be viewed from Gokyo RI (4593m). "Kalapatter" is the only ideal view point to have magnificent view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse & Mt. Nuptse.

Day to day Itinerary
Day 01    Arrive In Kathmandu
On your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport (1,300m/4,264 ft), meet Outlook representative and greet service and transfer to hotel. Get refreshed well and evening, we especially welcome you by typical Nepali cuisine dinner with ethnic cultural program. Return to hotel and overnight.
Day 02 Kathmandu City Tour
After taking breakfast at hotel your full day city sightseeing starts from around Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Swayambhunath & Kathmandu Durbar Square. These places are very much famous in Nepal with their own religious & cultural norms.  You really will enjoy these places. Boudhanath & Swambhunath are famous Buddhist stupas. Pashupatinath is famous for numerous hindus temples & Lord Shiva, itself. You can be a witness of the sacred Hindu Cremation done at the edge of Bagmati River.  In Durbar Square you can see numerous pagoda style temples, Living goddess kumari temple, Kal bhairab and Shiva Parbati Temple. Except these, they all are listed in UNESCO for their uniqueness. Lunch will be provided at Boudhhanath. From Swayambhunath you can see the total Kathmandu Valley. Evening pre-trip discussion and introduce with our fellow trekking staff for your adventure trip. Rest of the day is free. Dinner at hotel and overnight.
Day 03 Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding (2800 M)
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m.) and it takes about 30 minutes. Trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640 m.) which takes approximately three hours.
You transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Lukla. Lukla is a small town with an airport. There are few tea shops, lodges, hotels and general stores. You begin today’s trek from Lukla following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi river. Nupla (5885m) can be seen in the distance on the opposite bank, is a peak atop the Kongde Ridge. You descend a mountainside path that merges into your route to Everest, with views to a valley to your right; and at its far end, Kusum Kang (6367m.) The Dudh Kosi approaches as you pass a Mani wall and arrive at Ghat teahouse. You continue along a small path with many climbs and descents following the left bank of Dudh Koshi to Phakding.
Day 04    Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3440 M)
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) which takes about four and half hours. This day you trek and cross the river on high suspension bridges. Beyond Monjo (2800m.) is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park which was set-up in order to protect and preserve this fragile mountain environment. You then ascend quite steeply to Namche and along the way, if the weather is clear, catch a first glimpse of Mt Everest in the distance. You can also enjoy the view of Mt. Kusum Kangaru, Thamserku, Konde-Ri and Tawache peak. You can also visit some of the village monasteries on the way of trekking to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.). Namche is the main trading village in the Khumbu region and holds a busy Saturday market. There is set a meeting place for the Hindu traders from the lowlands and the Tibetan yak caravans that have reached there by crossing the glaciated Nangpa La.
Day 05     Acclimatize Day in Namche
Rest at Namche Bazar for acclimatization and excursion around the places. Namche is tucked away between two ridges amidst the giant peaks of the Khumbu and has an abundance of lodges, tea shops and souvenir shops as well as a magnificent outlook. It is an ideal place to spend a rest day for acclimatization to the high altitude before heading off towards Tyangboche. For the acclimatization you walk up to Khunde Hospital which was set-up by Sir Edmund Hillary, or a one hour walk up to the Syangboche (3800m.) where Everest View Hotel is situated above Namche for the outstanding view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. There are also good views from the National Park Centre and Museum just above the town.

Day 06 Namche Bazaar – Khumjung (3790 M)
We trek from Namche Bazaar to Khumjung (3790 m).  At the place of Namche Bazaar, the trail leads steep climbing about one hour to Shyangboche. From the top of Shyangboche, one can see view of Mt. Everest (8848m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Themserku (6608m), Nuptse (7879m), and Lotse (8383m). After there trail downwards to Khumjung, where can be seen Sir Edmund Hillary School and hospital. Walking time takes about 3 hours, overnight at camp or lodge.
Day 07 Khumjung – Dole (4040 M)
Today we descend from Khumjung to Dole (4040m). On the way we see the Glaciers & the trail is a bit easier comparatively to the previous walk. After a leisurely walk of several hours we will reah to Dole. Overnight in a lodge or a tented camp.
Day 08 Dole –Machhermo (4410 M)
From Dole we trek ahead to Machhermo (4410 m) for 4 to five hours.  The trail is not so challenging so we will have enough opportunity to enjoy the extreme beauty of the surrounding nature. We stay overnight in a lodge or a tented camp.
Day 09 Machhermo – Gokyo Lake (4750 M) 
Today our trail goes to Gokyo Lake (4750 m) through the different lakes on the way. We trek uphill continuously to reach Gokyo. It takes 4 to 5 hour walk to complete the journey for the day. We stay overnight in a tented camp.  
Day 10 Gokyo Lake – Gokyo Ri (5360 M)
Today we will walk towards Gokyo Ri (5360 M) to see the wonderful views of Mt Everest & other Himalayas. We will spend much time at the top of the Gokyo Ri. Overnight in a tented camp.
Day 11 Gokyo Ri – Tagnag (4700m)
After enjoying at Gokyo RI, next day we trek back to Tagnag (4700m). This day we trek down to Tagnag with the experience of Himalayan culture & the people. On the way we also cross the glacier to reach the village Tagnag, which is situated just below a cliff. Overnight in a lodge or a tented camp.
Day 12 Tagnag – Cho-La Pass (5240 M)
Today we trek ahead to Cho-La Pass (5240 M) along the stream & through the pastures land. While walking we also can see the fine setting of Cho La. Overnight in a tented camp.
Day 13 Cho-La Pass – Lobuche (4887 M)
From Cho-La Pass we gently follow the path to Lobuche (4887 M). The trail is quite beautiful & so we walk enjoying the surroundings. Overnight stay in a tented camp.
Day 14 Lobuche –Everest Base Camp –Gorak Shep (5184m)
Lobuche to Gorak shep (5184m) trek is very memorable trip for today. We walk to the Everest Base Camp, enjoy our time there viewing the various frozen lakes & back to Gorak shep through the glacier & snow capped rocks.  Overnight in a tented camp.
Day 15 Gorak Shep – Kala Patter - Feriche (3930 M)
In the morning we climb from Gorak Shep to Kala Patter to enjoy the sunrise & the panoramic views of various Himalayas including Mt, Everest. Then we reach to Feriche village. It is the village with the facility of communication & also known as windy village. Some medical facilities are also available in the village . Overnight in a loddge.
Day 16 Pheriche – Tangboche (3870 M)
Today we leave Pheriche & walk back down the valley. We cross the bridge & climb up to the stupa. We walk through the Sagarmatha National Park & various villages to reach to Tangboche. There we visit the Tangboche Monatery also. It is one of the famous monasteries of Nepal. Overnight in a lodge.
Day 17 Tangboche – Monju (2800m)
We trek down 6 to 7 hour through the Fuki Tenga & Namche Bazaar to reach the village of Monjo (2800m). Today all the way we just descend down to reach to our destination. Overnight in a lodge.

Day 18: Monju – Lukla (2640)
Today we trek back to Lukla (2640m) & all the way we feel more new & different. As we arrive in Lukla we take rest, feel relax & celebrate the success of reaching to the Base Camp . Overnight in a guest house.

Day 19: Lukla – Kathmandu 
You take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla and it takes almost 30 minutes.The remainder of the day has been left free. O/N in Kathmandu

Day 20: Departure
Breakfast at hotel and be prepared for departure, you are free until transfer to onward journey or you can contact Outlook Nepal Tours and Travels for other holiday program and activities.

Everest Gokyo Ri Trek

Gokyo Ri (5380m) is situated in the Khumbu or Everest region. Everest Gokyo Ri is located on the west side of the Ngozumpa glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal. Gokyo is a tiny settlement of few stone houses. Gokyo Ri is a base hilltop to observe the legendary Himalayas above 8000 meters Mount Everest,  Cho- Oyu, Nuptse and Lhotse.  The remote gokyo valley, greenish-blue lakes festival and moon-scape like glaciers count the Gokyo Ri trek valuable. Namche bazar  then follow the rivers run off from the Ngozumpa glacier to Machhermo.  We will be exploring  a string of cobalt blue lakes in the high mountain Gokyo valley. From Goyko RI a vantage point,  you will explore and be witness yourself of the 360 degree Himalayan panaroma where you observe the magnificence views of the 8000 meters legendray himalayas Mount Everest, Lohste, Nupste, Cho-oyu and Ama dablam.

This trekking route has been designed  for  those trekkers who do not have previous experience of trekking or summit climbing but enormous desire to observe over 8000 meters peaks from the nearest vantage point. This could be a fair challanging trek, trekkers only should have 6-7 hours daily walking  capacity and excellent courage to accomplish something perfectly.
