Ghorepani trek is good for those people who would like to make the shorter trekking trips in the Annapurna Region. This trek starts with the short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and then starts trekking crossing the many bamboo & rhododendron forests and large waterfalls with swimming holes and taking us to the maximum elevation of 3120 m for the excursion of the famous Poon Hill to see the famous mountain peaks close to eyes. During the trek, we will have chance to view the famous mountain peaks like Dhaulagiri I, Tukuche, Nilgiri, most of the ranges Annapurna, Hiunchule and Tarke Kang. Ghorepani means "horse water" and it is no doubt a welcome watering stop for the teams of horses, mules and ponies that carry loads between Pokhara and Jomsom.

 Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive In Kathmandu             
On your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport (1,300m/4,264 ft), meet Outlook representative and greet service and transfer to hotel. Get refreshed well and evening, we especially welcome you by typical Nepali cuisine dinner with ethnic cultural program. Return to hotel and overnight.
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour

After taking breakfast at hotel your full day city sightseeing starts from around Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Swayambhunath & Kathmandu Durbar Square. These places are very much famous in Nepal with their own religious & cultural norms.  You really will enjoy these places. Boudhanath & Swambhunath are famous Buddhist stupas. Pashupatinath is famous for numerous hindus temples & Lord Shiva, itself. You can be a witness of the sacred Hindu Cremation done at the edge of Bagmati River.  In Durbar Square you can see numerous pagoda style temples, Living goddess kumari temple, Kal bhairab and Shiva Parbati Temple. Except these, they all are listed in UNESCO for their uniqueness. Lunch will be provided at Boudhhanath. From Swayambhunath you can see the total Kathmandu Valley. Evening pre-trip discussion and introduce with our fellow trekking staff for your adventure trip. Rest of the day is free. Dinner at hotel and overnight.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara

Early in the morning after receiving breakfast at hotel we prepare to drive to Pokhara. We reach Pokhara by a private vehicle throug the greeny mountainous road . The journey to Pokhara is  really a nice experiencee to everyone.  As we transfer to hotel, take rest & after lunch we roam aroung the lakeside of Pokhara . In the evening you can also stroll around the Lakeside for your joys. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Pokhara - Tikhedhunga (1491 M)
Today, after breakfast we take a short drive to Nayapul. This is the starting point of our trek. So, today our trek starts to Tirkhedhunga. Overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani (2855 M)
Today we trek from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani( 2850m/9350ft)   . The trail ascends towards Ulleri (2070 m), a large Magar Village. We take lunch on the way of our trek. It is 6 hrs walk. Crossing the cultivated fields and jungle of magnificent rhododendron we will climb Nangethanti.  After one hour trek from Nangethati we will climb to Ghorepani (2855 m). Overnight at lodge.  

Day 06: Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Tadapani (2540 M)
We will climb Poon Hill (3195 m) from Ghorepani and view majestic beauty of sunrise over the high Himalayas. A lot of snowy mountains and peaks including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Himchuli, Lamjung Himal and Annapurna South can be seen from Poon Hill. Crossing Deurali (2960 m) and Banthanti, the expedition moves towards Tadapani (2540 m).This trail will provide you maximum pleasure. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 07: Tadapani – Ghandrung (1970 M)
Early in the morning after breakfast we head to trek from Tandapani to Ghandrung. The trek lengthens 3 – 4 hours. Ghandrung is one of the largest Gurung Settlement in Nepal.  From here we can see the excellent view of Annapurna South & Machhapuchhare . Overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Ghandrung – Pokhara (913 M)
Today is the last day of our trek. Along the way to Sauli Bazar from Ghandrung, you can see good views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare. The trails follow the Modi River till Nayapul from Sauli Bazaar. After lunch and hiking around Birethati, we will drive for Pohara. The remaining time is for visiting Pokhara valley. Some places are Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake, David Falls, Mahendra Cave and Mountaineering Museum, including Buddhist and Hindu Temples and shrines. Evening take rest & enjoy more.

Day 09: Pokhara – Kathmandu

Drive back to Kathmandu being the same previous route. Hotel transfer. You can enjoy your time with shopping & other creational activities.  There are plenty of shops in Kathmandu. You can enjoy visiting Thamel area & purchase the souvenirs for your   family members & the friends in abroad.  Dinner & overnights at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure

We are concluding our trek here and prepare for the departure for onward journey or you can contact Outlook Nepal Tours for extend your holidays at the Himalayan country.

Everest Gokyo Ri Trek

Gokyo Ri (5380m) is situated in the Khumbu or Everest region. Everest Gokyo Ri is located on the west side of the Ngozumpa glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal. Gokyo is a tiny settlement of few stone houses. Gokyo Ri is a base hilltop to observe the legendary Himalayas above 8000 meters Mount Everest,  Cho- Oyu, Nuptse and Lhotse.  The remote gokyo valley, greenish-blue lakes festival and moon-scape like glaciers count the Gokyo Ri trek valuable. Namche bazar  then follow the rivers run off from the Ngozumpa glacier to Machhermo.  We will be exploring  a string of cobalt blue lakes in the high mountain Gokyo valley. From Goyko RI a vantage point,  you will explore and be witness yourself of the 360 degree Himalayan panaroma where you observe the magnificence views of the 8000 meters legendray himalayas Mount Everest, Lohste, Nupste, Cho-oyu and Ama dablam.

This trekking route has been designed  for  those trekkers who do not have previous experience of trekking or summit climbing but enormous desire to observe over 8000 meters peaks from the nearest vantage point. This could be a fair challanging trek, trekkers only should have 6-7 hours daily walking  capacity and excellent courage to accomplish something perfectly.

Royal Trek of Annapurna Foothills

The Royal Trek is considered as one of the famous but easiest treks in Annapurna region which commences and ends at Pokhara. It does not require any experience to do this trek.
