This trek is a reverse of the latter part of the Annapurna Circuit. The trek commences from Pokhara and passing through some of the best mountain viewing sports, reaches the Kaligandaki valley. The walk up to Muktinath is then a rewarding feast for the eye. Muktinath is one among the five most important places of pilgrimage for the Hindus. The famous temple of Muktinath lies in the district of Mustang. On the occasion of janaipurnima and Ram-navami festivals devotees gather there to pay homage to Muktinath, Lord of Salvation. This is in Rain shadow (Trans Himalayan) region & you will have semi-Tibetan cultural experiences, holy pilgrimage site, Buddhist society, pinnacle sceneries and landscape, stunning mountain views. Muktinath is one of the most popular places preferred by trekkers for an extended halt while doing the famous Annapurna circuit trek.

Day to Day Itinerary 
 
Day 01   Arrival in Kathmandu

On your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport (1,300m/4,264 ft), meet Outlook representative and greet service and transfer to hotel. Get refreshed well and evening, we especially welcome you by typical Nepali cuisine dinner with ethnic cultural program. Return to hotel and overnight.
 
Day 02  Sightseeing Tour In Kathmandu

After taking breakfast at hotel your full day city sightseeing starts from around Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Swayambhunath & Kathmandu Durbar Square. These places are very much famous in Nepal with their own religious & cultural norms.  You really will enjoy these places. Boudhanath & Swambhunath are famous Buddhist stupas. Pashupatinath is famous for numerous hindus temples & Lord Shiva, itself. You can be a witness of the sacred Hindu Cremation done at the edge of Bagmati River.  In Durbar Square you can see numerous pagoda style temples, Living goddess kumari temple, Kal bhairab and Shiva Parbati Temple. Except these, they all are listed in UNESCO for their uniqueness. Lunch will be provided at Boudhhanath. From Swayambhunath you can see the total Kathmandu Valley. Evening pre-trip discussion and introduce with our fellow trekking staff for your adventure trip. Rest of the day is free. Dinner at hotel and overnight.

Day 03:    Drive to Pokhara

Early in the morning after receiving breakfast at hotel we prepare to drive to Pokhara. We reach Pokhara by a private vehicle through the green mountainous road. The journey to Pokhara is really a nice experience to everyone. The drive offers typical Nepalese feature, terraced rice field or barren, ethnical villages, flora, fauna, mountain views through wide & narrow Trisuli & Marshyangdi River. As we transfer to hotel, take rest & after lunch we roam around the lakeside of Pokhara. In the evening you can also stroll around the Lakeside for your joys. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 04    Pokhara – Trek to Ulleri    

It is the first day of our trek so we take breakfast & drive to nayapool from where our trek begins. Simply covering the area of Tikhedunga we reach to Ulleri. Overnight in a lodge.

Day 05 Ullari – Ghorepani(2860m)

We trek 5 to 6 hours up to Ghorapani. The trail goes through the dense rhododendron forest. On the way we can see various shops & the hotels & also the superb view of Mountains. Overnight in a lodge.

Day 06 Ghorepani – Tatopani(1110m)

Today in the morning we trek to Punhill to enjoy the amazing views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri & Manaslu. After a cup of tea on the top hill we trek down to Tatopani (1110m) . Overnight in a lodge or guest house,
 
Day 07 Tatopani – Ghasa (2000m)

Our trek continues along the Kaligandaki River to Ghasa. You will really enjoy local villages, rice field, waterfall, & the gorges. Overnight in a lodge.

Day 08 Ghasa – Tukche (2590)

We trek steep through the forest & reach to Lete Khola & continuously to Lete. Then we proceed to Larjung Village & reach to Tukche. Overnight in a lodge.

Day 09    Tukche – Marpha (2610m)

From Tukche village we trek to Marpha. On the way we can see the apple farm project which produces apple & vegetable. It is very beautiful place of Mustang. Overnight in a lodge or guest house.

Day 10 Marpha - Kagbaeni (2750m)

Today after breakfast we trek towards Jomsom Village & from there we head to Kagbeni. Kagbeni is an interesting windswept village situated on the main age old Trans Himalayan salt trade route to Tibet via Upper Mustang area. You can also see the various rituals at the bank of Kali Gandaki River at Kagbeni. Overnight in a lodge or guest house,

Day 11: Kagbeni – Muktinath (3802m)

After breakfast we trek 3 to 4 hours up to Muktinath . Trial somewhere goes through plain desert terrain. Muktinath is a famous & sacred shrine & pilgrimage site for the Hindus & the Buddhists of the world. We can see lots of pilgrims around the temple. Overnight in a lodge or tented camp.

DAY 12: Muktinath – Jomsom (2720m)

From a sacred place of Muktinath we today trek back to Jomsom, a beautiful valley full of various facilities & the tourist services. Jomsom always remains busy with the numbers of pilgrims who make the place a transit to Muktinath so we also see lots of people of Mustang who come to sell the handicrafts to them. On the ways to Jomsom we cross the place Cangbeni, famous for the fossil called Saligram . We also can see the various rituals at Cagbeni . Overnight in a lodge or guest house.

DAY 13: Jomsom-Pokhara

In the morning you take 25 mins flight from Jomsom to Pokhara.  You will be transferred to hotel. You will enjoy a day stay in Pokhara . You also will enjoy sightseeing with boating at Phewa Lake, visit Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave & other touristy place considering your time limit. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Drive/Fly Back To Kathmandu & Day free

Drive or fly back to Kathmandu being the same previous route. Hotel transfer. Remaining time free & you can enjoy your time with shopping & other creational activities.  There are plenty of shops in Kathmandu. You can enjoy visiting Thamel area & purchase the souvenirs for your   family members & the friends in abroad.  Dinner & overnights at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Departure
We are concluding our trek here and prepare for the departure for onward journey or you can contact Outlook Nepal Tours to extend your holidays at the Himalayan country.

Everest Gokyo Ri Trek

Gokyo Ri (5380m) is situated in the Khumbu or Everest region. Everest Gokyo Ri is located on the west side of the Ngozumpa glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal. Gokyo is a tiny settlement of few stone houses. Gokyo Ri is a base hilltop to observe the legendary Himalayas above 8000 meters Mount Everest,  Cho- Oyu, Nuptse and Lhotse.  The remote gokyo valley, greenish-blue lakes festival and moon-scape like glaciers count the Gokyo Ri trek valuable. Namche bazar  then follow the rivers run off from the Ngozumpa glacier to Machhermo.  We will be exploring  a string of cobalt blue lakes in the high mountain Gokyo valley. From Goyko RI a vantage point,  you will explore and be witness yourself of the 360 degree Himalayan panaroma where you observe the magnificence views of the 8000 meters legendray himalayas Mount Everest, Lohste, Nupste, Cho-oyu and Ama dablam.

This trekking route has been designed  for  those trekkers who do not have previous experience of trekking or summit climbing but enormous desire to observe over 8000 meters peaks from the nearest vantage point. This could be a fair challanging trek, trekkers only should have 6-7 hours daily walking  capacity and excellent courage to accomplish something perfectly.
