Langtang trek passes through less visited diverse ethnic groups' settlements and green forest to the vantage view point called Kyangin Gompa and beyond. A teahouse trek in Langtang provides an excellent opportunity to explore the prosperous mixed cultural heritage of Tibetan origin Lama and Tamang tribe, richly carved wooden windows, lively dance festivals and skilled weaving tradition and customs. Day to Day Itinerary
 
Day 01:  Airport pickup / Hotel transfer & refreshment /O/N at hotel
          
 
On your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport (1,300m/4,264 ft), meet Outlook representative and greet service and transfer to hotel. Get refreshed well and evening, we especially welcome you by typical Nepali cuisine dinner with ethnic cultural program. Return to hotel and overnight.
 
Day 02: Full day Kathmandu valley Sightseeing /trip briefing / O/N at hotel
 
After taking breakfast at hotel your full day city sightseeing starts from around Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Swayambhunath & Kathmandu Durbar Square. These places are very much famous in Nepal with their own religious & cultural norms.  You really will enjoy these places. Boudhanath & Swambhunath are famous Buddhist stupas. Pashupatinath is famous for numerous hindus temples & Lord Shiva, itself. You can be a witness of the sacred Hindu Cremation done at the edge of Bagmati River.  In Durbar Square you can see numerous pagoda style temples, Living goddess kumari temple, Kal bhairab and Shiva Parbati Temple. Except these, they all are listed in UNESCO for their uniqueness. Lunch will be provided at Boudhhanath. From Swayambhunath you can see the total Kathmandu Valley. Evening pre-trip discussion and introduce with our fellow trekking staff for your adventure trip. Rest of the day is free. Dinner at hotel and overnight.
 
Day 03:  Drive to Dhunche (1966m.)
 
Early breakfast at hotel and drive towards Dhunche (1966m.) this takes about eight hours. You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Dhunche. You will have dinner & rest for overnight.
 
Day 04: Drive to Syabru Beshi & begin trek (2581m.) to Lama Hotel (2470m.)
 
This day we drive to the Syabrubeshi (1,420m/4,658ft, 4-5 hrs drive) where we will commence the trekking. We start walking in own pace and the trail ascends for around two hours through the forest followed by a climb of about an hour to reach Bamboo village (1,850m/6,068ft), take leisure for lunch . This forested path with well stabilized trails and following the upstream and can be viewed birds life around the bushes. Bee hives hanging on a cliff are another attraction. From here we again steeply climb through the bamboo forest to reach the Lama Hotel. Syabrubeshi to Lama Hotel (2340m/7,675ft, 5-6 hrs) walk which is popular among the trekkers of Langtang route treks. You will have dinner and rest for overnight

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village (3480m.) via Ghore Tabela .
 
Trek up from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3,480m/11,415ft, 5-6 hrs walks). We pass through the Himalayan settlement of Lama and Langtang. As you continue climbing there are occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung between the trees. At Ghora Tabela [3000m], the trail emerges from the forest. While walking here, you can catch a glimpse of white monkeys and local birds. Once there was a Tibetan resettlement project here, but now it is a Nepalese army post though it has no permanent inhabitants. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months. There is a monastery which we can visit shortly before arriving at the village of Langtang, the headquarters of the Langtang National Park. The houses of Langtang and its neighbouring villages are of the flat-roofed Tibetan style, surrounded by stone walls enclosing fields of buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips and barley.

Day 06: Trek to Kyangjin (3870m.)

Today is the day of exploration of Khanjin Ghompa(3870m.)  and observe outstanding Himalayan outlooks. After breakfast ,start our trek leisurely for around three to four hours to visit Kyanjing Gompa. From here we have beautiful views of Mt Ganchempo and Langtang Lirung. Evening we are free for visiting the surrounding areas like Yak cheese Factory, Monastery and local houses
 
Day 07: Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa.

Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around. This is day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri [4350m], directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks.
 
Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel

Trek back to Lama hotel and overnight at guest house. From Kyangjin you retrace your route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela. We will have an easy down hill and pleasant walking through the rhododendron forest to Lama Hotel.

Day 09: Trek to Syabru Besi via Sherpa Gaon

After having breakfast we trek down towards the Syabrubeshi via Sherpa Gaon which takes about five hours. The upper part of the trail is more beautiful for the panoramic view of mountains and green hill views. This path is broader and remains sunny through the different Shepra and Tamang villages. The first half part of the trail is gradually down and then the trail does steeply descent to the Syabru Besi (1600m.). There was run a project called Chilime Power Plant. The main inhabitants belong to Tamang community and they have adopted Tibetan lifestyle.
 
Day 10: Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu & O/N at hotel.

In the morning from Syabrubeshi we drive rive back to Kathmandu by bus and transfer to hotel. Remaining time free for your activities. You can enjoy your time with shopping & other creational activities.  There are plenty of shops in Kathmandu. You can enjoy visiting Thamel area & purchase the souvenirs for your   family members & the friends in abroad.  Dinner & overnights at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 11: Day free / O/N at hotel

Today you will have a free day to you. You can enjoy your time with shopping & other creational activities.  There are plenty of shops in Kathmandu. You can enjoy visiting Thamel area & purchase the souvenirs for your   family members & the friends in abroad.  Dinner & overnights at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Departure

Breakfast at hotel and be prepared for departure, you are free until transfer to onward journey or you can contact Outlook Nepal tour and travels for other holiday program and activities.

Everest Gokyo Ri Trek

Gokyo Ri (5380m) is situated in the Khumbu or Everest region. Everest Gokyo Ri is located on the west side of the Ngozumpa glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal. Gokyo is a tiny settlement of few stone houses. Gokyo Ri is a base hilltop to observe the legendary Himalayas above 8000 meters Mount Everest,  Cho- Oyu, Nuptse and Lhotse.  The remote gokyo valley, greenish-blue lakes festival and moon-scape like glaciers count the Gokyo Ri trek valuable. Namche bazar  then follow the rivers run off from the Ngozumpa glacier to Machhermo.  We will be exploring  a string of cobalt blue lakes in the high mountain Gokyo valley. From Goyko RI a vantage point,  you will explore and be witness yourself of the 360 degree Himalayan panaroma where you observe the magnificence views of the 8000 meters legendray himalayas Mount Everest, Lohste, Nupste, Cho-oyu and Ama dablam.

This trekking route has been designed  for  those trekkers who do not have previous experience of trekking or summit climbing but enormous desire to observe over 8000 meters peaks from the nearest vantage point. This could be a fair challanging trek, trekkers only should have 6-7 hours daily walking  capacity and excellent courage to accomplish something perfectly.
 
 

Royal Trek of Annapurna Foothills
